Well it’s obviously that time of year again. The kids keep looking at you expectantly. Your partner has that nervous, wary look in the eye. The house is buzzing with excited chatter that seems to erupt only when you’re in the other room and tends to quiet down when your footsteps approach. There is talk of mutiny. You have heard the whispers around the dinner table when everyone thought you were out of range. Read the rest of this entry »

Can I afford a cruise?
Some vacations are just more fun than others!
There will be very few times in your life when you are completely free. Free from cares, responsibilities, chores, deadlines, timetables, ringing phones or demanding voices. It’s time to start planning for such a vacation and you feel overwhelmed by all the choices.
You may be looking for a place the whole family can enjoy. Perhaps a romantic vacation or a place to meet people. At the same time you want great value for your money. Seem like an impossible task? Then maybe you haven’t considered cruising.
With so many destinations and so much to do on today’s cruise ships it is becoming a very popular alternative to more traditional vacations. Hold on a minute, you might be thinking, I thought cruises were not for me.
Not anymore. Dance clubs, sports facilities, live entertainment, movies, classes, casinos and supervised children’s activities are just a few examples of how cruise ships are catering to people of all walks of life.
One of the main benefits of cruising is it’s all inclusive nature. The cost includes all the meals, 24 hour room service, cabin and entertainment just to name a few. Once you’re on board you’ll be amazed at the variety of activities and land excursions to choose from – or you can choose to do nothing but lounge on the deck.
Get ready to be pampered in a safe and relaxing environment. The high quality and worry free environment will make it a true escape from the “real world”. And what other vacation hotel lets you go to sleep at night and wake up to a new country at your front door every morning? Read the rest of this entry »

honeymoon on a romantic cruise? A wedding that takes place on
your cruise can be a beautiful way to start a journey together

to start at least a couple of months before your cruise leaves.

In reality, most couples don’t get married at sea, or on the
actual cruise ship. In order to do this, you need to find a
cruise line that has a wedding department and someone (often the
captain) to perform a legal ceremony. Not all captains have the
legal right to marry couples, so check this ahead of time if
your heart is set on an ocean bound ceremony. Read the rest of this entry »

Holiday Trend

When thinking of planning holiday breaks or school summer
holidays, parents are often searching for something that would
be great for the entire family. The top family destinations such
as The Grand Canyon or Disney World may come to mind immediately
but when thinking outside of the box, cruising becomes a very
desirable vacation! Most parents wouldn’t think of cruises as a
prime location because in the past, cruises have been mainly
themed for adults or for college kids during their spring break.
However, there are more and more family cruises becoming
available as they become a huge trend for holiday breaks. Read the rest of this entry »
